Fortnite Season 1 extended

On October 13th, Fortnite Season 10 officially ended. As the Season 10 ended, players couldn’t do anything when they logged in to Fortnite as there was just a black hole ahead of  Chapter 2. Fortnite is back for a new Chapter 2 with a brand new map as suggested by the leaked battle pass trailer. For the past few days, leakers have been flooding the internet with rumours regarding Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2. But now, Epic Games has officially put Season 2 on hold, thereby, extending the current Season 1 until February 2020.

Here’s the what Epic Games said on a blog post regarding the Fortnite Season 1 end date changes:

“With a new year comes new beginnings! Last year we celebrated 14 Days of Fortnite over the holidays.

“This year we’ve got even more content for you to unwrap, including new game features, free rewards and a live experience that you won’t want to miss.

“To prepare for all the new holiday-themed updates, we will be extending Chapter 2’s first season into early February. Get ready for winter.”
