Epic Games released patch notes for Fortnite update v10.20 earlier this week. The update brought in the new ‘Zapper Trap‘ along with the return of Kevin Cube, bug fixes, and minor improvements. But it seems like Fortnite enjoys being in controversy. First the introduction of B.R.U.T.E Mech, then the Turbo building time and now once again Epic Game has a blunder as it vaults some of the fan favourite weapons including the Combat Shotgun.
The latest Fortnite update aka “hotfix adjustments“ vaults three of Fortnite‘s most popular weapons. Well, for those who aren’t familiar with Fortnite vaults, it’s basically where awesome weapons go to be retired. The three guns to be vaulted are:
- The Combat Shotgun,
- Drum Shotgun,
- and Proximity Launcher
However, the update further offered a few other changes which include the return of the Suppressed Assault Rifle, available in Epic and Legendary variants. Moreover, Epic has further increased the damage caused by the Automatic Sniper. Epic Games quoted, “The Automatic Sniper was underperforming relative to some of the other Sniper Rifles. This adjustment to damage should make it more desirable as an alternative long-range weapon.”
Even though a few fan favourite weapons have been vaulted, we can always hope the weapons to make a return. For now, we have to play the game without these weapons.
