Earlier this week, Fortnite released v10.20 update wherein it flaunted the Shield Bubble and Fortnite/Borderlands 3 crossover, FortniteXMayhem. The crossover event required you to find Claptrap’s missing eye and return it to him. We also saw how Epic nerfed Turbo Building and reversed building time back to .05s from .15s. And now, new leaks from a renowned tipster ‘FortTory’ suggest that a ‘Zapper Trap’ is coming to Epic Games’ battle royale soon.
FortTory is a trustworthy Fortnite dataminer as has leaked many upcoming features correctly. Even back in April he correctly leaked as to how Tilted Towers and Retail Row would look post the explosion of a volcano situated at the northeast corner of the map. This time the dataminer leaks about a ‘Zapper Trap’ which is expected to make its way into the game soon.
FortTory further provides details on the ‘Zapper Trap’. He says that you’ll be able to place the Zapper Trap on floors, walls, and roofs. The code he got his hands on also suggests that the trap can be placed on enemy builds.
However, as of now, we can only wait to see how true this leak is and whether the dataminer is once again right or not. But if it turns out to be true, players can expect a really interesting way to trap their enemies.
