google stadia wont be wireless at launch

Google Stadia was first announced to the general public back in June during the E3 2019. At the same event, Google’s Chief Executive, Sundar Pichai mentioned Stadia terming it as “a game platform for everyone.”  With Stadia all set to step into the world of cloud gaming in November 2019, Google will be the first big company to launch next-gen consoles, with Microsoft Project Scarlett and Sony’s PlayStation 5 lined up for launch next year. Google already sold out the Founder’s Edition for Google Stadia in Europe last month. And now, Stadia Founder’s Edition has completely sold out globally.

Interestingly, none of those pre-orderers are getting day one access on November 19th. This news comes as a disappointment for everyone who ordered the Founder’s Edition hoping that they would be able to use it from day one. Moreover, the news is even more upsetting after Google recently revealed that Stadia Controller won’t be wireless at launch and will function wirelessly with Chromecast Ultra only at the time of launch.

However, the good news is that you wouldn’t have to wait much since Google told The Verge that both the Founder’s Editions and Premiere Editions will be delivered within the first two weeks of launch.
