In the recent past, CD Project Red is one company that has continued to be in the limelight in the gaming industry. It is working really hard with both of its famous titles The Witcher 3 and upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. The company took over the gaming world with storm when it showed Keanu Revees featuring as one of the characters in the game, back when the trailer was showed for the first time during E3, 2019. Ever since then, CD Project Red has been continuously showing details about its much-awaited title which is due to launch next year. However, this time its The Witchers time to make news as the company announced today that Gwent is coming to iOS on October 29 which is the first mobile version of this Witcher-based digital card game.

Gwent began as a small scale game inside the 2015 famous role-playing game The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. It was mainstream enough to warrant an independent variant, which was released in October 2018 for PC after a long beta period. It came to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in December 2018.

It will be available as a free download and will have all content and feature set similar to the PC version. Moreover, you will be able to share your progress and purchases between PC and iOS using a GOG account (you can sign up here).

iPhone 6S and above versions will support the game along with all iPads from the 5th generation and above (including the iPad mini 4) with the ability to play the game in 4k resolution.

You can pre-order the game now from here which will automatically download as soon as the game hits the store.
