Halo 4 Reach MCC Flight test beta test PC Halo waypoint

Halo 4 beta test extended to November 6th. Or as Microsoft likes to call it the MCC “flight” session. Earlier today, Microsoft sent out a “Thank you” mail. The mail also informed us about the extension to the flight. Similarly, the Halo Waypoint website also reflected the same regarding the extension.

Moreover, they also announced a new build update for Halo MCC which will release today itself at 10AM PT or 10:30PM IST. The new build version number is 1.1930.0.0. If you have access to the flight test and have played it before, you can hop in and start playing immediately. In case you’ve missed out on the test but still have access, you can check your messages on the Halo website to find the invitation as well as the installation instructions.

343 Industries said on Reddit,”Our flight patch brings some additional goals for this flight! Along with Crossplay and Advanced Graphics Options for PC, our (Halo) Reach content features newly updated interpolation work to bring the title closer to our recent releases.”

As can be inferred from the e-mail, not every region will get the Halo flight update simultaneously. The build should automatically update once the patch drops.

The Halo Beta Flight test schedules as mentioned on the update are:

  • 10/30 – H4 Squad Battle, HR Heroic Firefight, & Social 8v8
  • 10/31 – H4 Squad Battle, HR Heroic Firefight, & Social 4v4
  • 11/01 – H4 Squad Battle, HR Heroic Firefight, & Social 8v8
  • 11/02 – H4 Squad Battle, HR Heroic Firefight, & Social 4v4
  • 11/03 – H4 Squad Battle, HR Heroic Firefight, & Social 2v2
  • 11/04 – H4 Squad Battle, HR Heroic Firefight, & Social 8 Player FFA
  • 11/05 – H4 Squad Battle, HR Heroic Firefight, & Social 12 Player FFA

The Halo flight will mark its end on November 6 at 10AM PT and all the supporting services will go offline.
