While trying to encourage the young minds of the country to join the armed forces, the Indian Air Force, Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa launched a battle based versatile game ‘Indian Air Force: notably better than’ in New Delhi on Wednesday. It is Indian Air Force’s authentic versatile game and can be downloaded by means of Google Play Store or Apple App Store. IAF’s game as of now has been launched in solo player mode, anyway, a multiplayer mode is normal in October this year.

IAF released the teaser of the game on 20th July last month, giving little hints about what the single-player game really is all about. It showed many fighter jets in aerial combat, targeting different on-land structures.:

 

“I am an air warrior, proud, dependable and fearless. In every act and deed, I put the honor and security of my motherland, first,” the teaser said setting up the storyline for the game.

“I fly deep into enemy territory and strike fear in the hearts of my enemies,” it added.

 

‘Indian Air Force: A Cut Above’, promises to offer the youth a “realistic feel of the Indian Air Force”, thereby encouraging them to opt for a career in the IAF. It will be available on both iOS and Android and mainly targets audience above the age of 14, and tell them that a career in the IAF is a “cut above the rest”, a senior IAF officer said.

Dhanoa’s 3D mobile video game has components of augmented reality. It was launched at the National Bal Bhawan, after the inauguration of a facilitation-cum-publicity pavilion of the IAF, on the campus by Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal.
