Ludo King has introduced two new modes to the well-known mobile and desktop game – Quick Ludo and Five to Six Player Ludo. Gametion Technologies, the developer of the game, stated that these were the most sought features because they wanted to connect with more of their friends online. Players will be able to voice chat with each other while playing the game. The game has also crossed 500 million downloads worldwide in December 2020 and has seen a significant growth in the last nine months.
Gametion Technologies announced through a press release that two new features have been introduced in Ludo King. The first is Quick Ludo that allows players to play quick games rather than normal long matches. A normal game of Ludo usually lasts between 15 minutes to 40 minutes. With the help of Quick Ludo, players will be able to wrap up a game in about five minutes. This mode is perfect to play while traveling or during short breaks.
The five to six player mode will allow up to six players to play at one time against each other. At first, the six-player mode was available only in offline multiplayer but now, six players can link up online and play. In this mode, voice chat is also available that will allow players to exchange banters during the game.
Ludo King was able to see a significant growth in the last nine months because of the pandemic that forced people to stay at home. The developers said that its Daily Active Users (DAUs) increased from 15 million to 32 million and Monthly Average Users (MAUs) went from 110 million to 142 million in the last nine months. This allowed Ludo King to cross the 500 million-download mark worldwide in December 2020 and become the most downloaded game at App Store India for the year. The game is available for free at Google Play Store, App Store and Windows.
