Minecraft Earth is Microsoft’s upcoming augmented reality (AR) mobile game. The closed beta has already been live on iOS devices in select locations for some time now. However, for the first time, Microsoft and the game creator Mojang whom Microsoft acquired for $2.5 billion back in 2014, finally released the closed beta version on Android devices last month. The beta was made available for people who had earlier registered and is available in five cities including London, Mexico City, Seattle, Stockholm, and Tokyo, following which Mojang and Microsoft decided that Minecraft Earth will be available in “early access” for some countries starting from October. And now, Minecraft Earth early access open beta arrives in New Zealand and Iceland.
‘Minecraft Earth’ will be available on devices that can run iOS 10 and up, plus Android 7 and newer versions.
