Minecraft-Active-Users-over-100-Million

Microsoft has been very creative and hardworking with its sandbox game Minecraft and it seems like a decade of hard work paid off when recently Minecraft reached over 112 Million Active users playing the game per month. This figure includes all the players across all different platforms, including the ones who play via an Xbox Game Pass. And now, once again Microsoft has shown its dedication and creativity with Minecraft as the title is getting a new character creator option.

Mojang unveiled the new feature during a live stream which gives players the ability to customize different attributes of their character including body type, hairstyle, clothing, and eye color offering players control over how they appear.

However, the feature is still in beta testing phase and will arrive on Minecraft Earth too with support on platforms like iOS and Nintendo switch.

This year seems to have been really special for the title as Microsoft brought tons of improvements in the title including the introduction of Ray Tracing Support for Nvidia RTX graphics cards and is even consistently experimenting new things like Facebook’s AI Assistant is learning ‘How To Play Minecraft?’, launched Minecraft Earth for mobile users. However, the good thing is that all these efforts are paying off as the title has already hit 112 Million Active Users globally. Back in May, when Microsoft canceled the ‘Super Duper Graphics Pack’, the company said that almost 176 million versions of the game have been sold since its launch. With the addition of the new feature, the year gets even better for Minecraft and its fans. It would be interesting to see what else the company has in store for us.
