Recently, NetherRealm Studios unveiled a new set of DLC characters that are making their way into Mortal Kombat 11 via the Kombat Pack and then it celebrated Halloween with Masquerade Skin Pack. The skin pack had skins for Jade (‘Wicked Witch Jade’), Kabal (‘Psyko Killer Kabal’) and Liu Kang (‘Calavera Liu Kang’). Then the studio celebrated Holidays with three events.
While the whole world was celebrating the new year, NetherRealm Studios released the teaser of the arrival of Joker in Mortal Kombat 11. The studio released the teaser on Twitter quoting “He’s escaped and what a #HappyNewYear it is! ahahahahHAAHAHAHA!! #MK11“:

Joker will arriver in the game on 28th January. Joker has been previously in the game during DC vs Mortal Kombat events. The video shows that the world is celebrating the New Year with fireworks in the sky then the camera pans to a wall where the signature laugh of Joker, the “HA” is painted and we can hear the laugh of Joker in the background. Then “See you soon.. Koddos” can be seen in the scree.
