Nintendo is bringing the 2005 classic Brain Age back to Switch series

Nintendo launched its Switch version of the console in an attempt to overcome the failure of its Wii U hardware. And nowhere did the Switch disappointed the company as the console has been a huge hit ever since its launch. Nintendo also planned the Switch Lite which released recently on the 20th of September. The new Lite model promises a smaller and cheaper version of the original console model. The most notable difference between the Switch and Lite that Lite misses the feature to hook it up with your Television. But that isn’t stopping the company from introducing new games to the console. In a similar effort, Nintendo is now bringing a new Brain Age game for Nintendo Switch.

The new game has been announced for Japan and goes by the name “Train Your Brain: Nintendo Switch Training for Adults.” The game is set to arrive on December 27th. Coming onto the pricing details, the new title will cost 3,480 yen which includes a physical copy of the game along with a touch pen stylus. For those who wish to get the digital copy, it will cost 2,680 yen.

Brain Age for Switch Lite comes with some Switch-exclusive features like:

  • The ability to play minigames using the infrared sensor camera on the right Joy-Con controller.
  • Players will be able to play games of rock, paper, scissors.
  • Players can also do simple arithmetic by holding up the correct number of fingers in view of the IR sensor.

Moreover, the reincarnated Brain Age will also be part of the package which will include quick math-based games and kanji training using a stylus for Nintendo Switch. However, the Switch version of the game also features competitive counting games and other new features, like an alarm to schedule training, email-based summaries of training, and online leaderboards.

As for the global release of the game, we still have no updates on it but we will keep you posted on all the whereabouts regarding the game.
