Famous accessory manufacturer, PowerA listed a Nintendo Switch case on Amazon, yesterday. But it turned out that the case was Overwatch-themed and was quickly removed. The black and orange case featured an Overwatch logo, and the accessory noted that it was “officially licensed by Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment.” We don’t know if this was done purposefully or was a mistake but it clearly suggests that Overwatch is soon coming to Nintendo Switch. The case was first spotted by Wario64 who even tweeted about it.

Overwatch is a multiplayer shooter game which was officially launched back in 2016. The game is already available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Jeffrey Kaplan, Blizzard Entertainment’s Vice President and game director said back in 2017 that he is a Switch and Blizzard fan and would love to explore additional platforms for the Switch.
“I’m loving the Switch! My second favorite gaming platform of all time is the 3DS”, he said during an Overwatch Reddit AMA. “Getting OW on the Switch is very challenging for us. But we’re always open-minded about exploring possible platforms.”
However, it still remains to see if Overwatch is really coming to Switch and if it does, how smoothly it runs on the device will also be interesting to see. Being an Esports game, Overwatch arriving to Nintendo will be great news for all the Switch players and Esport fans. For now, we can only hope that this wasn’t a mistake and Overwatch does arrive on the Switch.
