Yesterday during Nintendo Direct, an online presentation or live shows produced by Nintendo, the company released a video showcasing a new motion control device which seems to a fitness device, for Switch. However, not much has been revealed about what the device actually does as Nintendo said it would provide more information on September 12th. Here’s the video, Nintendo released:

Although Nintendo did share a video of its new device, one can’t really judge clearly as to what the new device is all about. But since we see people really working hard on various exercises, we may assume it to be a fitness peripheral. The video shows players vigorously squeezing the ring, jumping around, and running in place, which seems pretty much implies that it’ll be some sort of fitness or workout experience. However, we can’t yet confirm anything about the nature and use of the device.

Furthermore, the video showcases two pieces of the device: an essential, adaptable ring that one Joy-Con half is embedded into, and which has some extra handles around the periphery that is by all accounts the principle “controller”, and an optional leg lash that the other Joy-Con goes in.

It will be really interesting to see how Nintendo’s new creative device really works, once the company releases further details about the device but by the looks of it, we can say that it will be fun to workout with a Nintendo Switch in hand.
