Nvidia converts 2D image into 3D

Nvidia has been quite busy lately working on its next-gen Ampere architecture GPUs. According to a new set of rumors, we could see graphics cards built around a 7 nm Ampere GPU namely Nvidia RTX 3080 next year, in June at Computex.

According to an analyst (Chris Caso of Raymond James), Nvidia is reportedly holding onto the launch of RTX 3080 because of well its current RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti are performing in the market and especially when compared to the rivals AMD.

Even though rumors suggest that we might get to see the RTX 30 series sometime around Computex next year, no further details have been leaked. However, we can expect the 2080 successor to focus mainly on improved ray-tracing performance across the board but particularly at high resolutions. Moreover, it’ll have a faster GPU and memory clock speed, as well as an improved thermal design power for better energy efficiency which most of the big techs are focusing on nowadays.
