Overwatch, as most of you know, is a team-based multiplayer first-person-shooter game. It is a Blizzard Entertainment publication, released on May 24th, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and WindowsOverwatch has been a great success ever since its launch. And now, Blizzard has finally announced the Overwatch 2, at BlizzCon 2019.

With more than 50 million Overwatch fans out there, Blizzard seems to have done enough to keep the fans excited, offering them a new gameplay trailer of the highly anticipated Overwatch sequel, Overwatch 2. Here’ everything revealed during the BlizzCon 2019:

When will Overwatch 2 release:

As for now, no release date has yet been decided for Overwatch 2 but Blizzard has confirmed that it’s coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. 

Moreover, Jeff Kaplan, the face of Overwatch 2 when asked about the release date said, “I don’t know, I have no idea,” he said. “Like, just let us make it great, that’s what we care about more than anything. We don’t have a date in mind.”

So we can pretty clearly guess that there is still time until the title arrives.

Overwatch 2 new modes, maps and more:

The sequel to the successful Overwatch will feature all 31 of its heroes, including a new hero, namely, Sojourn. Moreover, you’ll also be able to level up your individual heroes and customize their skills. However, customization won’t be an option in player-vs.-player modes.

A new PvP mode called Push will be featured in Overwatch 2 which will be the highlight of the upcoming sequel. Also, we can expect new maps, items and undoubtedly new heroes.
