PUBG Lite as the name suggests is an inferior version of PUBG Mobile, launched for users with low-end devices. Not every device offers smooth PUBG Mobile gameplay. To overcome this and widen their market, Tencent came up with an idea of Lite version which we see with most of the apps these days. After initially releasing in only a few countries like Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, etc, on 3rd July, the PUBG Lite was finally released in India.
As reports from developers coming in suggest Open Beta goes live on 8th of August, there may be a few updates with it. Here’s what we can expect with the new Open Beta Lite:
1. New Map:
After receiving a lot of requests and feedbacks from users, developers have finally decided to release a new map in the game along with a new model. Rumours suggest that the new map being introduced is Vikendi, however, we still aren’t sure about that and can only wait to see.
2. A 4V4(Team Death Match) Mode:
As we know from PUBG Mobile, TDM is a 4V4 mode where the team that makes 40 Kills first wins. And now, we might see TDM to be made available in the Open Beta version too.
This is good news for the users and I am personally too excited for the Open Beta to be on the roll.
