PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds recently released a beta version of the 0.11.0 update bringing in the much-awaited zombie mode for players to test out. The stable version of the zombie mode will be rolled out to all users between February 1 to February 10 according to a Youtuber Mr. Ghost Gaming.

Tencent games, which is the parent company for Pubg, has partnered up with the  Resident Evil 2 for its zombie survival mode. The zombie mode in Pubg will be called Resident Evil: Sunset mode. In the zombie mode, players will face waves of zombies with each wave being stronger than the previous one. Players will have to scavenge the map for supplies or kill the zombie bosses coming their way with each wave. Players will have to kill all the zombies in order to be the last man standing.

Players will also have to take into account the ever decreasing safe zone and other players who might take advantage of them being distracted by zombies.

The company has not gone into many details about when the zombie mode will make its way to Pubg Mobile. Nevertheless, there have been various teasers from Pubg regarding the advent of zombies including a zombie trapped in the lobby area of Erangel map.

The 0.11.0 update is also expected to bring new weather for the Vikendi map, dubbed, moonlight. The moonlight weather will see Vikendi map at night with a prominent moon at the top. Lastly, Sanhok will get a Quick Match Arcade Mode along with a few other features from the PC version of the game.

Pubg Corp has also recently announced a lighter version of the game for PCs that will be able to run on low-end PCs. The company has made this move keeping in mind the number of players that want to play the game but cannot afford a high-end PC.
