PUBG Lite as the name suggests is an inferior version of PUBG Mobile, launched for users possessing low-end devices. Not every device offers smooth PUBG Mobile gameplay. To overcome this and widen their market reach, Tencent came up with an idea of a Lite version which we are witnessing with most of the apps these days. PUBG Mobile Lite has been in the beta testing phase since January this year. And now, PUBG Mobile Lite is officially available for download on Google Play Store.

Device Requirements and Size:
As PUBG Mobile Lite has been designed for low-end mobile devices, it runs pretty well on devices with a mere 2GB RAM. Moreover, as compared to the PUBG Mobile whose size is 1.6 GB, the Lite version has a size of just 491 MB.
Features and Gameplay:
PUBG Mobile Lite comes with a Classic Mode and a War Mode. However, both the modes are quite different from the Classic and War modes in PUBG Mobile.
Classic Mode:
Only one map Erangel is available for now but what’s interesting is Erangel in the Lite version is different and much smaller as compared to the Erangel in PUBG Mobile. Coming onto weaponry, all the weapons are similar to PUBG Mobile with an additional RPG-7 which is like a Rocket Shooter and knocks the enemy with one shot. However, the HP of the enemy is much higher in the lite version and you need to shit around 20 bullets of M416 to knock the enemy out which makes it quite difficult to play solo vs squad.
War Mode:
War mode is different too as you land with just 7 other players, all equipped with a Kar-98 sniper rifle. Since it is available to play as solo, duo, and squad, it turns into a TDM(Team Deathmatch Mode) when playing as a squad. War Mode unlocks once you reach level 10.
