The very popular mobile game PUBG is soon getting an exciting update with Erangel 2.0 map. The map was already made available for the PC version back in June this year and ever since PUBG Mobile fans have been eagerly waiting for its arrival on PUBG Mobile. During the PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) 2019 finals, Berlin, Germany, the company told the fans that Erangel 2.0 is under work and will soon be arriving on the mobile version too but no exact timeline was available. However, recently PUBG Mobile tweeted featuring a trailer of the upcoming map and we might expect it to be available for download soon.

Furthermore, Tencent also seems to be collaborating with The Walking Dead where we might see a story-based zombie mode. PUBG Mobile has already had 2 crossovers with Resident Evil 2 wherein ‘Darkest Night’ and ‘Survive Till Dawn 2’ were added to the Arcade mode of the game.
Coming onto the map updates, Vincent Wang, the Global General Manager of PUBG, announced that Erangel will be getting some really eyecatching updates in the 2.0 version. As visible in the video, there have been changes made to areas like Mylta Power, Prison, Yasnaya, etc. With hardly any new places to be added to the map, we can expect an overall improvement in textures and detail of the map.
If we get the same improvements as the PC version then we might see the following features:
- Map Size is Reduced
- Building Locations changed
- Spawn Items location changed
- Safe zone time is increases and Speed in decreased (means you can run faster than the circle).
- Circle Damage in the Blue Zone is Increased
- Vehicle Repair Kit
- Grass is increased
- ULTRA HD mode is coming
- New JUMP, CLIMB and GRAB movements are added.
- Building redesigned with enhanced graphics.
However, for now, we can just wait until the update rolls out and then experience the new changes by ourselves.
