PUBG Mobile’s latest 0.16.0 update has been in beta for quite some time now. The new update is set to add a slew of new features and updates. And now, PUBG Mobile’s official Twitter account has confirmed that the update will go live on December 11th.

Here’s what to expect from the next PUBG Mobile update:
Death Race Mode or Rage Gear Mode:
PUBG Mobile is very likely getting a new Death Race mode aka the RageGear Mode in which players will have to defeat enemies using vehicles equipped with artillery. Moreover, as the name suggests, players will have to win races in order to outperform their rivals. The new mode will be available under EvoGround mode. The RageGear mode is further divided into two modes, namely TDM and Pick Up.
Snowy Erangel:
The most played map, Erangel is also getting a new outlook with the addition of snowy weather to Erangel. The northern parts of the map including Stalber, areas near School and Hospital will be featuring snowy mountains, ski lifts, and skiing boards.
Switch FPP to TPP instantly:
Until now, PUBG Mobile doesn’t allow players to switch modes from FPP to TPP or vice versa during an ongoing match. But with the new update, you’ll be able to switch modes instantly. Call of Duty Mobile already has this feature and allows switching modes in-game.
The update is currently in the beta mode and players on the beta program can try out these new features. However, no release has been yet revealed by the company but we can expect the changes to arrive soon.
