PUBG Corp. is used to add new and interesting content to its popular battle royale title Player’s Unknown Battleground, every now and then. Recently, PUBG Mobile received the version 0.15.0 update which introduced the new Payload Mode alongside other features including the ledge grab feature. PUBG is now ready to roll out version 0.16.0 update. The new update will have PUBGs new racing mode “Rage Gear.” Vincent Wang, the general manager of publishing at Tencent Games, teased the new mode during Day 1 of PUBG Mobile Club Open Fall Split 2019 Global Finals. He revealed that the new mode will be added on December 11.
Rage Gear mode involves a death race-like situation where players battle against enemies in armored vehicles in a warehouse-like venue in Miramar. The new mode will have three vehicle options: Buggy, UAZ, and Dacia 1,300. All of these vehicles have different stats in terms of health, speed, and collision. Players will option to select RPG-7, MGL Grenade Launcher, or M249 to take on opponents. The game mode will take place on a circular map. Players can collect vehicle repair points during the game. These points can restore the health of a selected vehicle.
