Rocket League Haunted Hallows Event

Recently, developer Psyonix announced that its popular game Rocket League is removing its paid, randomized loot boxes to replace them with blueprints, following its parent company Epic Games’ footsteps who made a similar change to Fortnite earlier this year. But before the blueprints arrive in December, Rocket League is getting a Stranger Things crossover for Halloween next week.

Rocket LeaguexStranger Things crossover event is dubbed as ‘Haunted Hallows Event’. It kick starts on October 14th and continues until November 11. The game’s Farmstead Arena will be all covered in dark shadow as the Mind Flayer takes over the arena, turning it to a terrifying Upside Down themed alternative world. Moreover, players will have an opportunity to earn Stranger Things-related digital prizes by playing online games in special areas and collecting ‘Candy Corn’ credits. These candy corn credits will offer you the chance to buy items from the exclusive Haunted Hallows Event Store which includes wheels with the Starcourt Mall logo, Dustin’s Camp Know Where hat (as a topper), a Demogorgon player banner and a Scoops Ahoy-themed avatar border. Credits can also be spent on non-Stranger Things Halloween stuff.

The soccer-with-cars competitive game, Rocket League is available on Mac, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
