Sony announces the launch date of Predator: Hunting Ground

Sony announced the new Predator: Hunting Grounds game during their State of play presentation. The game is going to release on April 24, 2020. The company said that the new game will have a female predator. The studio launched a trailer of the game :

The game is 4v1 where one team of 4 players fight the predator. The Predator can be controlled by one player. This asymmetrical multiplayer game is based on the “Predator” film. The studio that developed Friday the 13th game, IllFonic, is developing the game.

The trailer of the game tells how brutal the game is going to be. In the game, Predator kills the human and collects their bones as a trophy. The weapons for the Predators include a cross and Bow, a lethal Smart Disc that works like a frisbee and a spear. There are three classes of Predator: Hunter, Scout, and Berserker.

While talking about the female Predator, Jared Gerritzen CCO, IllFonic says in the blog “We had fun imagining her back-story which helped us create a fierce warrior that any gamer will have fun playing. She is agile, fast, and relentless. She is a huntress without fear and she thrives in the hunt”

Unlike Friday the 13th, the Predator game is going to be PlayStation exclusive at the launch and then the game will be launched for PC. The preorder of the game will include in-game content like the ‘87 movie Predator Skin and OLE painless mini-gun.
