Twitch Studio

Amazon’s very own streaming platform Twitch today launched the beta version of Twitch Studio, a desktop broadcasting app for streamers who are just getting started. Twitch Studio is best-suited for gamers looking to step into the world streaming or even if they just want to explore what streaming has to offer. Twitch Studio offers tools to guide you through basic setting and stream layout in order to make your stream look attractive.

“Today we’ve opened up beta testing for Twitch Studio: an all-in-one streaming app for new streamers that cuts down on the guesswork to setup a quality stream and makes it easier to engage with your community,” Twitch said in a blog post announcing the app.

Twitch uses mediators like OBS and Xsplit currently if someone is just starting up with streaming to handle technical issues and other Twitch integrations. But with Twitch Studio, the streaming platform looks forward to eliminating the need for any middleman and handle all the stuff on its own.

Since Twitch Studio is still in beta mode, as of now, only limited features like activity feed, alerts, and chat that allows you to engage with your fans are available. But once the full version goes live, it will have capture cards and in-game overlay support too.

Twitch Studio is currently only available as a closed beta for now however, you can apply to join.
