World of Warcraft Classic launched on 26 August 2019. Since then, it has been a beloved game for many streamers and a popular gaming choice for gaming fans. It also became the most-viewed game on Twitch leaving behind the likes of Fortnite, CS: GO, League of Legends, and other streamed games. Back in September, Blizzard announced that free ‘WoW Classic’ character transfers will soon become available for select Classic realms. And now, in the face of the overwhelming popularity, Blizzard has announced the next expansion for WOW Classic, Shadowlands, during BlizzCon 2019. When will World of Warcraft: Shadowlands release:
As of now, no release date has been yet decided but game director Ion Hazzikostas has confirmed, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands would arrive in 2020.

The next expansion WOW: Shadowlands will add four new zones:
- Revendreth,
- Ardenweald,
- Maldraxxus, and
- Bastion.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands takes place following the aftermath of Battle for Azeroth. Sylvanas destroys the Helm of Domination, dethroning the Lich King. As she defeats the Lich King, Sylvanas portals to the afterlife above Icecrown Citadel which is full of “fallen warriors”.
“Shadowlands is an expansion built around choice,” Hazzikostas said. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will release in 2020.
