world of warcraft shadowlands

World of Warcraft Classic launched on 26 August 2019. Since then, it has been a beloved game for many streamers and a popular gaming choice for gaming fans. It also became the most-viewed game on Twitch leaving behind the likes of FortniteCS: GO, League of Legends, and other streamed games. Back in September, Blizzard announced that free ‘WoW Classic’ character transfers will soon become available for select Classic realms. And now, in the face of the overwhelming popularity, Blizzard has announced the next expansion for WOW Classic, Shadowlands, during BlizzCon 2019.  Moreover, the Shadowlands expansion will revamp the leveling system.

The upcoming expansion will offer new content to players at higher levels. Once a player reaches level 60, they will be able to join a Covenant, which ties into the expansion’s afterlife theme and grants characters with new powers from the group they join. Character customization is also getting better with the availability of different tattoos, hairstyles, and skin tones. Also, Death Knights will be available for any of the game’s races. There are 8 new dungeons, and its first raid is set up for 10 players. The highlights of the expansion are new features like Torghast, Tower of the Damned, a new randomized dungeon experience.

As of now, no release date has been yet decided but game director Ion Hazzikostas has confirmed, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands would arrive in 2020.
