Proxgy is a visual commerce product that lets users experience almost everything just by sitting on their sofa.
Proxgy is a VR based startup that lets users do shopping, travel places, and other exciting stuff. All of this by sitting on their sofa. Proxgy is the idea of Pulkit Ahuja who is an inventor, entrepreneur, and owner of multiple patents.
Proxgy is using 360-degree rotation cameras on Proxgy smart helmets, 3D viewing options, VR head controlled camera movements, and one to many broadcasting abilities.
The whole helmet of Proxgy provides live video and audio streaming through a 360-degree rotatable camera. The camera access is controlled by the user via a joystick which is in the Proxgy app.
How to Use?
If you want to use Proxgy, you have to book a Proxgy service through its app. Once a Proxgy accepts a user’s booking, the user is linked in an instantaneous ride-hailing manner to his or her Proxgy via two-way audio, one-way video. The user can then see and listen live to what their Proxgy is seeing and hearing. The user can give commands to its Porxgy to perform specific tasks. It could be through audio or a command from the Proxgy app.
Users have an option to receive the live feeds from Proxgy’s helmet on their app and view it on their phone screen, though a VR device.
The initial idea of Proxgy was different. But it received so much praise that it has expanded its services and now it aims to provide features like shopping, virtual travel, elderly care, real estate viewing, remote KYC, car servicing, and generic tasks like errands and many other B2B/B2C services.
Pulkit Ahuja, founder of Pixgy says “These cutting edge technological innovations have helped us create a truly immersive and exceptional augmented reality experience for the end-user.”
For now, Proxgy is in beta testing. It is accepting limited users every day. You can go to www.proxgy.com and book a service or ask for access. You can also ask for a service from the Proxgy app by downloading it from PlayStore.
