Swimming is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Swimming relaxes your mind and body.  It helps you in shedding those extra tucks that you carry with yourself and try hiding it.  Swimming is the best form of exercise, thereby helping you to burn calories.  A minimum of 200 calories can be lost by swimming for atleast half an hour.  The water is 800 times denser than the air, hence the harder you work, the more calories you kill. Research has proved that female swimmers experience significantly less tension, depression and anger after swimming. It supports 90% of the body’s weight in water thereby allowing for a complete body workout.  It prevents various diseases, thereby strengthening your immune system.

There is no strong reason of excluding swimming from the lifestyle. Swimming was considered a luxury in 20th century, but today it is the need.  The swimming facilities were earlier found only in resorts but today it is a demand of the luxury apartments.  The construction companies have started including a pool in all their projects. There are various clubs and coaching centres in Bangalore to help you swim and enjoy the benefits of it.  The swimming academies also trains you professionally.
