The Indian Foundation for the Arts was established to promote art across the world. It is a platform for various innovative and creative souls who has a flair for art. The vision of IFA is to nurture and value arts.  Its mission is to provide an infrastructure to the public, thereby strengthening the Indian art.  It paves way for innovative projects and commissioning research.  It grants support to all forms of cultural expression, while accommodating work that falls outside specific domains of art, blurs disciplinary boundaries or anticipates new modes of artistic production and presentation.

The art lovers will get an opportunity to learn from the artists. The lucky 25 kids will have an opportunity to visit a studio and interact with an artist in his or her space. This is a wonderful platform for the kids who have a flair for arts and want to pursue a career in art & culture. The kids are loaded with intellectual and creative ideas, but do not know how to proceed further.

The India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) has introduced “Art1st Partner a Master: Artist Mentor Program”, which is focusing to bridge the gap in arts education, especially in the secondary schools which mainly concentrates on academics. The talented artists such as Suresh Jayaram, Ravikumar Kashi, Surekha, C F John, Biju Jose, Mathen and Suresh Kumar G will be engaging the kids in their studio every week. The kids will not only be mentored but also will be assisting them on the art projects throughout the year. This opportunity is applicable to kids who are in the age group of 13 – 17.  IFA will fund this programme for 10 students and classes will be held on every Saturday for 4 hours.  The other kids will have to pay Rs. 35, 000 as course fee.  The course aims at bringing out the creative side of the kids.
