Old age home

Old age is the most difficult stage of life. The physical strength and mental peace becomes a challenge during these Sunset days of life.  Many kids are placed out of the city and hence this becomes a major cause for them to be away from their families. The work pressure, frequent travels and other job responsibilities do not provide them ample time to give attention to their parents. They either hire a maid or leave them in Old age homes for better supervision, forgetting the fact that all they need is love and care of the family.  There are many families who opt for these old age homes, as they do not want to burden themselves with extra responsibilities. The number of admissions in these homes are increasing rapidly, thereby questioning our responsibilities towards our parents. The following are some of the old age homes in Bangalore:

We, as a Society should ensure that we visit these old age homes and spend some quality time with these parents and grandparents who have been left out there for no fault of theirs. They need human beings to talk to. They desire to be heard and cared for. Let us all ensure that we contribute our share to these deprived people who are struggling in their old age.
