Whenever we go to explore a new place , Google Maps is the closest aquaintance we have that can direct us in the right direction. Google Maps is one of the most widely used applications around the world and according to android police soon Google is giving a new feature to the Google Maps which allows the user to host public events for androids.
The feature is still in the testing phase and isn’t available for everyone yet . Google in one of its support pages has already detailed about the upcoming feature and will be available to the end users soon and has also said that the feature might not be available in some regions. The feature still has issues adding photos outside event header.
Here’s how to check the availability and add a public event on your Android device:
- Open Google Maps
- Tap Contribute
- Tap Events
- Tap “+” to add a public event
Follow the above steps to host a event and edit the event details. We can even add date, time, photos and the type of event being hosted.
