WhatsApp Dark Mode out in the beta version v2.19.82.

The Facebook owned app (WhatsApp) is one of the most widely used instant messaging services around the globe and in their latest beta version v2.19.82 it seems likely that the much anticipated Dark Mode will soon be out officially after the testing.

As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp beta for Android v2.19.82 features code changes for dark mode. This feature is currently under development and is not available for all users, even if you install the latest beta. WABetaInfo did manage to force the feature for the Settings section of the app, and has shared screenshots for the same.

Based on the screenshots shared by WABetaInfo, it appears the Dark Mode for Android devices will use a very dark grey color instead of pure black. That said, it is important to keep in mind that the feature is in the early stages of development, which means changes can be expected.

It means that both IoS and android users will have to be patient as it may take a little while for WhatsApp to release the Dark Mode feature for all users. If you’re interested in checking out the beta anyway, simply click on this link.
