Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday keep up attacks on Modi Government over Rafale Issue. Gandhi took to Twitter to launch a scathing attack on Central Government and Goa ailing CM and the then Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar.

Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter “30 days since the Goa Audio Tapes on RAFALE were released. No FIR or enquiry ordered. No action against the Minister either! It’s obvious that the tapes are authentic & that Goa CM, Parrikar, is in possession of explosive RAFALE secrets, that give him power over the PM” said Rahul Gandhi while quoting a tweet of News Agency ANI over ‘Goa Audio Tapes’

While asserting that Tapes were authentic, He said, No FIR or the Investigation has been initiated against the Minister while referring to CM Parrikar.

Earlier this month on January 2, Congress had released an audio clip of Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Pratapsingh Rane claiming Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has “All the files related to #RafaleDeal in his bedroom”.

Congress Spokesperson Randeep Surjewala while releasing the alleged audio Clip said, ‘Former Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has the all the files relating to Rafale jet deal. The fashion in which every procedure was bypassed…it is all recorded in the files. Those files are with Mr Parrikar. Why are those files being hidden?”.

In the audio clip released by the Party, Rane purportedly can be heard saying that during a Goa cabinet meeting last week, Parrikar said he had an entire file and all documents relating to the Rafale deal lying in his bedroom. The audio clip was played for the media outside Parliament.

However, Goa Minister Rane rejected the claims and termed the alleged audio tapes as doctored.

Earlier on December 14 last year, Top Court rejected plea seeking an inquiry the Rafale Deal. The Apex Court had in December said that there’s no reason to doubt over the deal.

However, Controversy over the Verdict erupted after the Top Court in the judgement stating that the Parliamentary Affairs Committee had examined the pricing of the Rafale Jets, but Congress lashed out on Government with Mallikarjun Kharge saying no such report was presented in the PAC Meetings.

Later, in which, Former union ministers Arun Shourie and Yashwant Sinha, along with advocate Prashant Bhushan move to the Supreme Court for review of Rafale judgment saying the judgment relied upon “patently incorrect claims” made by the government in a sealed cover to the top court.

A second review petition in the case was filed by AAP Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on January 15. AAP Leader in his Petition demanded the identification of the individual who misled the top Court.
