The 3-0 victory in hind heartland states is one of the biggest political achievements of Congress National President Rahul Gandhi. The victory not only important in terms of state politics but also make an easy for Congress to reach out its allies vis-à-vis the Next Year Lok Sabha Battle.
In a Nail-bitter in Madhya Pradesh Elections, Congress emerges as Largest party with 114 seats, BJP on second with 109 seats. The BSP, SP, and Independent ended with 2, 1 and 4 respectively. It would be interesting to see where these 7 would tilt.
Fighting on the bank on incumbency against Vasundhara Raje led government in the Rajasthan, Congress dethroned BJP’s Vasundhara Raje in Rajasthan Elections & registered a comeback by winning 99 seats out of 199 in 2018 Assembly elections. The final tally saw BJP finishing second with 73 seats, CPI-M 2, BSP 6, Independents 13 & others 6.
And in Chhattisgarh Elections, Congress totally unseated Raman Singh led BJP government with a win on 68 out of 90 seats in the state.

Kamal Nath, Madhya Pradesh Congress Chief, thanked people of the state on Twitter. In his tweet written in Hindi, he called the vote ‘historic’ and assured that the party will strive to be worthy of people’s trust. Congress still maintains a thin lead over BJP in the state.

Arun Jaitley, Union Finance Minister, on asking about how these elections verdict will impact the lok sabha said, Issues in state elections are entirely different, we won all these states in 2003 Dec & lost the general election in 2004.
