He also slammed the Election Commission and accused it of working in ‘hand in gloves’ with Bharatiya Janata Party. Calling it a puppet of the Centre ruling party, Singh said that the Poll Body should change its Office to BJP Headquarters.

He also said that Poll Commission has till now not made it clear about what will happen if the VVPAT slip mismatch with an EVM during the counting of votes on May 23.

It should be noted that a delegation of 21 opposition parties led by Telugu Desam Party  President N Chandrababu Naidu will meet ECI officials today. Parties will demand of cross-checking VVPAT with  EVMs in an entire Assembly segment, in case a discrepancy is found in any polling booth during counting.

Elections for 543 Lok Sabha seats were held between April 11 and May 19 across 7 phases of elections. The counting of votes for the mega polls is scheduled for May 23.

It should be noted that almost all exit polls on Sunday after the culminating of last phase predicted Prime Minister Narendra Modi to return in power. Almost all Exit polls predicted a clear Majority to Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) with above 300 seats.
