Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath firm to restore law and order in the state is continuously making changes in the administrative posts.

Recently the Yogi-government has been facing a lot of criticism regarding the law and order condition situations in UP as the Chief Minister transferred 40 IPS officers on Tuesday. Shreshtha Thakur, who was recently in the news for her video that got viral on the social media, where she stood boldly against few BJP workers telling that she was not scared of anyone, as she was only doing her duty, was also one of the IPS to be transferred.

Aditya Mishra had taken over as the Additional Director General (Law and Order) in April after Yogi Adityanath came to power. Though within just two months Yogi has again changed the ADG, replacing Mishra with Anand Kumar on Tuesday.

Other important among the 40 IPS officers to be transferred are Dr Surya Kumar, Chairman of Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, he becomes DG (Homeguard), Lucknow while Virendra Kumar DG (Anti- Corruption Bureau), Lucknow will take charge from Surya Kumar. Among others, Mahendra Modi, who was DG (Training) will become DG (Technical Services), ADG (Traffic) Lucknow, Prashant Kumar goes to Meerut as a Zonal ADG, replacing Anand Kumar who becomes the new ADG (Law and Order) in Lucknow.
