Bhartiya Janta Party National President Amit Shah on Wednesday asked his Maharashtra MPs to prepare to go for ‘solo’ in the upcoming Lok Sabha 2019 Polls indicating it’s all ‘not well’ between the Saffron Party and its Maharashtra ally, Shiv Sena. Amit Shah while addressing a meeting in Mumbai on Wednesday reportedly give this message to Party’s Maharashtra Parliamentarians.

Shah said that if need be, we should be prepared to contest all 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra,” the MP told PTI. He added that “The BJP president told us that efforts are on to have an alliance with the Sena but if that did not materialize, we should be prepared to fight the polls alone,” he said.

NDA ally Shiv Sena has been continuously targeting the BJP led Centre Government on Various Issues, including Rafale Deal, Ram Mandir, Farmer Distress, etc.

On the same Day in Lok Sabha, Shiv Sena backed Opposition Demand for Joint Parliamentary Demand (JPC) Probe in the Rafale Deal and also raised questions on PM Narendra Modi‘s role in the VIP Deal. ‘New bench to pass further orders on Jan 10’, says SC on Ram Janmabhoomi – Babri Masjid title dispute

Speaking during a discussion on the Rafale deal in Lok Sabha on Wednesday, Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant said: “We keep saying we are transparent. Then why should we be scared of a JPC? Let the JPC find the truth. “Supreme Court never said there should not be a JPC.” he added while endorsing a demand that of the Opposition. He also compared the Rafale Deal with Bofors and said “People used to say Bofors is good but the deal is bad. Same is being said about Rafale Deal.”

Earlier on December 24, Party Chief Uddhav Thackeray slammed Bhartiya Janta Party and said his party is not interested in having alliance talks with the Saffron Party for General Elections 2019 until the party doesn’t put the issue of Ram Mandir and Farmer Distress on cards.

“I would like to talk about the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and the plight of farmers rather indulging in ‘useless’ debate on Pre-poll alliance,” said Shiv Sena Chief Thackeray reportedly.

However, Earlier there were reports about both having Backchannel talks on seat sharing formula.
