Former Union Minister and Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley today passed away at AIIMS. He was hospitalized at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi On 9 August 2019 due to his critical condition.
AIIMS official message said, “It is with profound grief that we inform about the sad demise of Shri Arun Jaitely, Hon’ble member of Parliament & Former Finance Minister, Government of India at 12:07 pm on 24th august 2019.
Shri Arun Jaitely was admitted at AIIMS, New Delhi on 09/08/2019 and was treated by a multidisciplinary team of senior Doctors”.
Today earlier suddenly, his health faced severe complications and he was facing the issues of “breathlessness”.
Arun Jaitely, 66, was earlier reported to be on life support with his “critical condition”.
He had undergone renal transplant operation on May 14 last year. He also had bariatric surgery in September 2014.
