Former Union Finance Minister and senior Bhartiya Janta Party leader Arun Jaitley’s health has been reported falling down. He was hospitalized at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi On 9 August 2019 due to his critical condition. He is having serious complications and facing the issues of “breathlessness”.

However, AIIMS hospital has not issued an official update on his news since 10 August. Arun Jaitley, 66, is reported to be on life support with his “critical condition”. Earlier, He had undergone renal transplant operation on May 14 last year. He also had bariatric surgery in September 2014.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Dr. Harsh Vardhan had rushed to AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) to meet the leader earlier. Informing the media about leader’s health Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said, “Doctors at AIIMS are doing the best they can.” President Ram Nath Kovind has also paid his visit to the leader to checkup on his health.

Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Delhi L-G Anil Baijal, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat,  BJP’s Maneka Gandhi, Uma Bharti and others have also paid their visit to the leader. BSP chief Mayawati also reached the hospital previously to look at the condition of Arun Jaitley.

Owing to his deteriorating health, Arun Jaitley did not contest Lok Sabha elections this year.
