Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah on Saturday filed his nomination papers the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat in Gujarat for the next month’s mega battle of ballots.

Shah on the occasion was accompanied with Union Ministers Arun Jaitley, Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Bharatiya Janata Party President earlier in the day held a massive roadshow.

Shah on the occasion said he is blessed to be in fray from the seat which has been represented by LK Advani for years.

Apart from the mega road show, The Bhartiya Janta Party has also organized a ‘Vijay Sankalp Sabha’ in Ahmedabad. Speaking on the Sankalp Sabha, BJP’s Maharashtra ally Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray said, ‘My father taught me to do everything from the heart, issues that we raised were of the people, we (BJP-Shiv Sena) had differences but we settled them.We never stabbed the from back & never will’.

The Saffron party Chief submitted his nomination form to the Gandhinagar district collector and returning officer S K Langa.

The gathering of Bharatiya Janta Party’s top brasses for Amit Shah’s nominations is seen as an effort to show NDA Strength ahead of the mega battle of ballots.

Gandhi Nagar Lok Sabha Seat has been held by LK Advani for six times. Advani had in 2014 General Elections won the seat with a heavy margin of over 4 lakh votes.

Voting for all seats 26 Parliamentary Seat will be held on April 23.
