Following the ‘poor show’ in Assembly Elections 2018 in the Hindi heartland states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections mega battle. If Reports to be believed, the top leadership has already paced the preparedness in a run-up to the Lok Sabha Battle to execute strategies in a bid to make a strong comeback.

Reports said the party has again decided to rely heavily on its Poll Warrior Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image to win the Lok Sabha 2019. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address over two dozen rallies in 122 parliament constituencies where the BJP is relatively weak. This round of campaigning is expected to go on until the end of January or the first week of February, next year.

PM Modi may also hold a rally on January 24 in the West Bengal, where the party is struggling to grip over voters and opposition Mamata Banerjee led TMC has a relative stronghold in the state.

Earlier to this, after party’s debacle in Assembly Polls in the Hindi Heartland States, BJP National President Amit Shah on Thursday chair a meet to introspect the results of assembly elections and to discuss the further strategies for the upcoming General Lok Sabha Elections 2019.

Shah seeks feedback about the ground situation in other states, and each state unit has been asked to give a report on organizational activities, political challenges, and future programmes’.

The move came in the party’s poor performance in the three states. It’s Counterpart Congress has dethroned the BJP in Chhattisgarh while the party has emerged as the single largest party in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan failing short of few states. However, with the support of its allies and Independents, it is in a comfortable position to form the government.
