Settling the rising winds of political uncertainty after a tumbling election season, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is ready to take the oath of Haryana CM again. It is expected that the leader will form the government on Diwali.
He will be securing the office for his second term on Sunday.

Manohar Lal Khattar was also made the leader of his legislative party in the state. The announcement came from an event held at Chandigarh on Friday. Union Minister Ravi Sankar Prasad was also present at the event. As quoted by ANI, Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “We will go to meet the Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya, and request him to invite us to form the government.”

Previously on Friday night, Amit Shah had announced the merger of Jananyak Janata Party and Bhartiya Janta Party. He, according to the ANI, said, “Accepting the mandate by the people of Haryana, leaders of both parties -JJP have decided that BJP -JJP will form the government together in Haryana. The Chief Minister will be from BJP and Deputy Chief Minister will be from JJP.”
Speaking from a press meet heled at Amit Shah’s residence, JJP leader Dushyant Chautala had said that he wants to respect the mandate of people and therefore wants to extend his support to the saffron party.

In the Haryana elections, Bhartiya Janta Party won 40 seats in the Haryana Assembly poll, however, it fell short of the majority. Therefore JJP which bagged 10 seats offered to support the claims of the saffron party. Congress party came on the second position with 31 seats.
