FICCI fixes rate at Private hospitals for COVID-19 treatments

New Delhi: India reports 10,064 fresh cases of coronavirus which pushed the total tally to 1,05,81,837 in the nation. The active cases now stand at 2,00,528. With 17,411 new recoveries, as far as 1,02,28,753 patients recovered, and with 145 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll has risen to 1,52,556, as per Union Health Ministry.

As per the Indian were Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 18,78,02,827 samples were tested for COVID-19 up to 18 January, of which 7,09,791 samples were tested yesterday.

As per Union Health and Welfare Ministry, the infection (Active) rate is 1.90 percent, the recovery rate has reached 96.66 percent and the death rate is 1.44 percent

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that a total of 3,81,305 beneficiaries have been vaccinated till Monday through 7,704 sessions.

Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said on Twitter, “Corona Vaccine Drive Update, More than 3.81 lakh beneficiaries have been vaccinated across the country so far. No case of serious/severe AEFI reported.”

A total of 1,48,266 beneficiaries were vaccinated till 5 pm today, the third day of nationwide COVID19 vaccination. Final reports would be completed for the day by late tonight. The third day of the massive countrywide COVID-19 vaccination program was also conducted successfully, the ministry said.

A total of 30 boxes of Covishield, by Serum Institute of India, shipped from Pune in Maharashtra to Hyderabad in Telangana on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, as per ANI, Cambodian media reported that Prime Minister Hun Sen is seeking assistance from India for the provision of COVID-19 vaccines as the country produced its vaccine which is scheduled to be rolled out to more than 300 million Indians this year.
