Dalai Lama, the Tibetan spiritual leader in his 80s, was admitted in Max hospital in Delhi with chest infection. But his personal spokesperson says he is doing very well now.

Dalai Lama, who came from Dharamshala to Delhi for his checkup here was diagnosed with chest infection. But his personal spokesperson now says that he is currently better. “Doctors have diagnosed him with a chest infection and he is being treated for that. His condition is stable now. He will be treated for two-three days here,” said Tenzin Taklha, personal spokesperson of Dalai Lama.

He is the 14th Dalai Lama and had fled Tibet long ago when China annexed Tibet. Now his reincarnation arises as a serious question. As China mentions that they can choose his successor, Dalai Lama had reverted saying it would not be something the Tibetans would accept. But Beijing seems to stand strong on its decision.Dalai Lama has been living in India since 60 years after he fled Tibet in 1959 and this is something that China is not happy about.
