Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal visits AIIMS after fire broke out in the hospital on Saturday evening.

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Sunday visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences to take stock of the situation. He said that the investigations were on to ascertain the cause of the fire that broke out on Saturday evening.

The chief minister and his deputy, Manish Sisodia, visited the teaching block of AIIMS. where the accident started on Saturday, destroying samples and medical reports.

“Visited AIIMS where fire incident took place yesterday. Fortunately, no life lost due to swift action taken by AIIMS authorities. Delhi Fire Service personnel worked hard to bring fire under control. Investigations going on to ascertain reasons of fire,” Kejriwal tweeted on Sunday.

The Chief Minister also visited ailing former finance minister Arun Jaitely, who is admitted at the premier hospital since August 9.

“Visited Sh Arun Jaitley ji. I pray to God for his good health and fast recovery,” Kejriwal tweeted.
