In order to get rid of the increasing pollution level, the government of Delhi has announced odd-even scheme yet again in the national capital. The same scheme was announced last year too and it had a considerable impact in lowering down the pollution level in the capital city.

In the first lag, the scheme will be started from 13th November and it will go on until 17th. The government has not issued any instruction as to if there are possibilities to extend the scheme. However, sources claim that if the results are satisfactory, the government might look to extend it for a few more days after 17th.

The increasing level of pollution has forced the state and central governments to look for emergency alternatives. As a precaution, the schools have been ordered to close down till Sunday. Also, the government is talking to various stakeholders in order to implement the best ways to counter the increasing problem of pollution, which has made the national capital difficult to breathe.
