After the smooth conduct of assembly elections in Maharashtra and Haryana on Monday, Exit polls have started coming in with varied opinions. The overall prediction of the exit polls points out towards the victory of BJP in both the states.

All the exit polls barring India Today-Axis My India predicted that the saffron party and Shiv Sena alliance will secure over 200 seats. India Today-Axis My India poll predicted that the ruling alliance will only be able to secure victory on 166 to 194 seats. According to the survey, Congress-led United Progressive Alliance will be able to garner around 48 to 105 seats in the state. Congress is contesting with NCP in Maharashtra.

Times Now exit poll predicted that BJP-led NDA will secure win on around 230 seats while 48 seats will be bagged by Congress-NCP alliance in Maharashtra. In Haryana, the polls predicted a whopping figure of 71 seats for ruling BJP and 11 for Congress party.

According to the exit poll of the ABP News-CVoter poll, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance might get an easy win on 204 seats while 69 seats will go to the Congress-NCP alliance in Maharashtra. The poll also gave 70 seats to BJP and just 8 seats to Congress in Haryana.

Another exit poll by NewsX-Polstrat said that the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance will get between 188- 200 seats and Congress-NCP will secure victory somewhere between 74-89 seats. In Haryana, BJP has been pegged to 65-70 seats to BJP. Jannayak Janata Party might get between 4 to 8 seats.

News18-IPSOS poll gave BJP-Shiv Sena alliance an attractive 242 seats while it predicted that the Congress-NCP alliance will only get 39 seats. For Haryana, BJP is set to secure around 75 seats while Congress will bag 10 seats and Dushyant Chautala‘s party will see win on 2 seats.

The exit poll was done by Republic TV-Jan Ki Baat that also predicted 200 plus seats for the BJP alliance.
