In the latest development about the ‘flight operations’ suspension, the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen to alert aircraft pilots of potential hazards along a flight route) has been withdrawn. Flight operations are to resume shortly, ANI quoted.

Previously, in the day many airports in the country were brought to a temporary ‘pause’ citing security reasons. ANI reported that the Airports in Leh, Jammu, Srinagar and Pathankot were in high alert. Also flight operations in Amritsar and Dehradun was suspended temporarily.

The Airport Director of Amritsar Airport cited operational reasons for the suspension of flight service.
