Flipkart has launched yet another sale on its platform in intensified eCommerce battle in India. The latest sale comes less than 2 weeks after the conclusion of its last sale, which was named as Big 10 sale. The new sale is not advertised by Flipkart as much as the Big 10 sale, however, it offers very significant discounts on some of the electronic appliances and gadgets.

The summer sale has started today and it will continue till the end of May. Under this sale, Flipkart is offering discounts upto 80% on home appliances, electronics, auto accessories, gadgets. These offers come with added benefits including no-cost EMIs and exchange offers.

Some of the best offers under Flipkart summer sale include discount on Air Conditioners, mobile phones and watches & premium bags for women. Air Conditioners are available at a discount of 30%, whereas prices of few smartphones have been slashes by as much as ₹17,999. iPhone 6s Plus is being sold for ₹39,999.

Sony LED televisions are now available at 20% lesser rates. The fashion segment has a discount rate ranging from 30% to 50%.

Talking of the cash back offers, users paying by PhonePe will get 25% cash back. PhonePe is the digital waller launched by Flipkart and is based on UPI. Also, Citibank credit card users will get 10% additional cash back on their purchases.

The eCommerce battle in India has been intensified in last few weeks. With Snapdeal literally out of the race, Flipkart and Amazon are fighting neck-to-neck in order to become the dominant players in India. To counter recent sale of Flipkart, Amazon had launched Great Indian sale earlier this month. According to reports and analysis released by Amazon, the sale had helped the company to increase its user base in tier2 and tier 3 cities by whooping 235%. Although Snapdeal is being acquired by Flipkart, it has also launched a couple of sale in quick succession to cash on the loyal subscriber base it has built.
